American Idol may have just "ended" in May 2016 but apparently ABC is ready to bring it back to television already! Word broke this morning that the deal is done and the show will be returning at some point during the 2017-2018 season. No details on host or judges yet but auditions are said to be going down at Disney World and Disney Land for contestants.
The rumor is that Ryan Seacrest may return as host, he is already part of the ABC family now that he has joined Live with Kelly & Ryan! We'll keep you posted on everything we know.
In the meantime Mario and Courtney weighed in on today's show and they are not that excited for the announcement.
