Fans are about to get a deeper look into the life of Rebbeca Marie Gomez, AKA Becky G. The star is reintroducing herself in her raw new documentary, REBBECA, which recently had its premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival and is showing in cinemas worldwide for just two nights only on December 10th and 13th, presented by Live Nation and Trafalgar Releasing.
REBECCA gives fans a deeper look into the singer's life as she recorded her album ESQUINAS, and according to a press release, showcases, "intimate moments with her loved ones and honest reflections, she opens up about loss, love, and the uneven road of self-discovery."
Fans who see the film during the two-night global cinema event will also see Becky share a personal message before the documentary starts, and will end with never-before-seen performance footage. In a statement, the star shared of her new doc, "This film isn’t about perfection. It’s about becoming. REBBECA was filmed in a moment of personal transition, when the questions were still louder than the answers. It’s raw, it’s real, and it’s healing."
Directed by Jennifer Tiexiera and Gabriela Cavanagh, and produced by Becky G herself along with Marc Jordan, Ryan Kroft, Pat Lambert, and Mark Ford, REBBECA promises to be a cinematic immersion into the story of one of today's most influential music voices.
