Prince William revived an old hobby that his wife, Kate Middleton, is not particularly fond of during a visit to Northern Ireland on Thursday (November 14).
According to People, the beloved royal was offered a ride on a motorbike, an "incredibly realistic" virtual motorbike that is, at the Virtual Production Studio at Ulster University’s Belfast City Campus, and he simply could not resist.
"Any excuse to get on a motorbike! I feel like someone needs to take this for a real spin."
The Prince of Wales is certainly no stranger to riding a motorbike despite Middleton's fear of the hobby.
In 2015 the Princess of Wales revealed how concerned she was that her husband was still riding, citing "horror."
"He’s still riding it. It always fills me with horror when he goes out on it. I’m terrified. Hopefully I’m going to keep [Prince] George off of it."
Then, in 2018 (shortly after Prince Louis was born), Prince William replaced his love for riding with immeasurable love for his family, giving up the hobby entirely.
"I'm a dad of three. I have to tone it down."
Aside from riding a virtual motorbike through a desert screen in Northern Ireland today, Prince William and his bride also took time to wish King Charles III a very happy birthday in a cheeky social media post.
