Amanda Bynes Shares Update On Weight Loss Journey

Amanda Bynes is on a health journey and is sharing with fans that she hit a new milestone in terms of weight loss.

On her Instagram stores, Bynes shared a screenshot of her step-counter app, which displayed all of her stats, and showed that she racked up 14,895 steps, which covers 6.6 miles and burns 481 calories. On the screen shot, she also wrote that she is down six pounds, making her currently 154 pounds.

Back in March, Amanda opened up about her health, and revealed that she had gained weight from depression. She wrote in an Instagram Story, "I've gained over 20lbs in the past few months from being depressed. I'm doing a lot better now and have learned to do opposite action when I don't feel like working out or eating clean." She also shared, "I weigh 162lbs right now and want to get back to 110lbs."

Looks like Amanda is making good progress towards her goal!

Bynes has been keeping much of her life private following struggles while being in the public eye, and the actress has previously opened up about her body image insecurities. In a 2018 interview with Paper Magazine, she shared how her role in 2006's She's The Man triggered a "deep depression." She said, "When the movie came out and I saw it, I went into a deep depression for four to six months because I didn't like how I looked when I was a boy."
