Jennifer Lopez Recreates 'Love Don't Cost A Thing' Video 20 Years Later

Even after all this time, Jennifer Lopez proves she's still Jenny from the block.

The 51-year-old superstar celebrated the 20th anniversary of her sophomore studio album, J.Lo, by recreating the visual from her music video for the LP’s lead single, “Love Don’t Cost a Thing.”

J.Lo honored the occasion on Saturday (January 23) with a tribute to her seductive beach scenes from the original 2000 music video, challenging fans to post their own versions on social media.

“The #LoveDontCostAThingChallenge STARTS NOW !!!! Can’t wait to see your renditions. ✨😎✨” Lopez tweeted with a clip of her strutting down a sandy beach while casually tossing off her shades and flashy trench coat before going nearly topless as she teased viewers by peeling off her black undershirt.

As fans know, J.Lo peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and the album’s lead single became Lopez’s first hit to top the American Hot 100 airplay chart at the time. The full-length also featured other catchy jams like "Play," "Ain't It Funny" and "I'm Real."

To recognize the anniversary of her second studio album, Lopez shared a heartfelt message to her fans.

“As I reflect on the fact that it’s the #JLo20thAnniversary, I just wanted to say thank you to all of you for being with me, loving me and supporting me through all the ups and downs,” Lopez wrote on Twitter. “Thank you so much for all the love over the past 20 years!! I love you so much!!”
