The Cuomo Brothers Bickering On CNN Is The Feel Good Show We Need Right Now

American audiences can't get enough of the Cuomo brothers — well, the Brothers Cuomo as they're adoringly being called.

New York Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and his younger brother, CNN anchor Chris Cuomo have been providing the comic relief we've all needed amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic thanks to their endless brotherly banter on Chris' CNN show, Cuomo Prime Time.

Governor Cuomo has been at the forefront of the pandemic response in New York while his younger brother has been reporting on all things COVID-19 for CNN. And as fate would have it, Chris' reporting has blessed audiences with a number of hilarious interviews with his older brother Andrew.

Most recently, the New York Governor joined Chris' show on Monday (March 24) where the two engaged in their latest primetime brotherly banter, which included a number of jokes at each other's expense.

"Andrew Cuomo, of course, my brother. Thank you for coming back to the show," Chris began the interview.

“Mom told me I had to,” Andrew jokingly responded, referring to their mother Matilda Cuomo, the former first lady of New York.

Throughout the interview, the brothers threw hilarious jabs at one another. At one point, Andrew told Chris, “You’re better than me."

“Only on the basketball court,” Chris replied, later adding his brother has “hands like bananas... Everybody knows it.”

“Put money on the table and I’ll take you out and spank you,” Andrew retorted.

At another point, Chris told his brother, “Governor, I’m sorry to interrupt you."

“Then don’t,” Andrew shot back. “If you’re sorry about interrupting me, don’t interrupt me.”

“I know, but you have a little bit of Pop’s gift where you kind of keep going,” the anchor responded, referring to their late father, former New York governor Mario Cuomo.

Twitter, of course, has had a field day with all the hilarious Cuomo brothers moments.
